System Binaries

There are a number of proprietary system binaries in the root filesystem.

  • bootcramfs unpacks the Config or Config2 flash partition into the normal file system.
  • eepromtest is used to examine the contents of the EEPROM.
  • micomparam is the program that talks to the front panel.
  • qlenc seems to be related to encoding the input from the LiDiC.
  • rompkg does lots of stuff that we don't understand yet.
  • sys_up does lots of stuff that we don't understand yet.
  • trccmd does lots of stuff that we don't understand yet.
  • wizdvp is the main application for the Beyonwiz; the GUI and all the normal (non-network) operations. Prl
  • wizmon does lots of stuff that we don't understand yet.
  • wizpimp implements the EPG retrieval portion of the IceTV PIMP protocol.
  • dump.dat isn't a program -- it's a data file containing a compiled version of the user interface description.
